2016 Cub Scout Summer Camp Program
"Space Camp"
There are 5 separate types of camps this year. "Cub Scout Day Camp", "Weekend Resident Camp", "Week-Long (FULL) Resident Camp", "Week-Long (MINI) Resident Camp" and "STEM Camp". A brief description of each is explained below and have different costs and requirements. There are registration forms at the bottom of this page for each of the camp types. Cub Scout Day Camp (July 5th – July 8th)
All the fun of summer camp without the overnight! Activities include Archery, BB Guns, Nature hikes, Games, Crafts, Swimming and more! Day camp is perfect camp for cubs and families who may not yet feel comfortable spending the night, especially new Tigers and Wolves, although Cubs of any age are welcome. Day Camp provides structured outdoor learning experiences that are challenging and fun. Boys can make new friends and building self-confidence. Day Camp runs from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM each day and lunch is provided.
Cost: Scout- $120 if paid in full by May 6 ($145 after May 6) Adult- $70
Weekend Resident Camp (Session#1 – June 24th - 26th) OR (Session#2 – July 1st - 3rd)
Weekend Resident Camp is an action-packed, three-day/two-night adventure for cubs and families who are ready for the thrill of overnight camping. Cubs will have a full schedule of age-appropriate activities and advancement opportunities including Archery, BB Guns, Nature studies, Games, Crafts, Swimming, Boating, and evening Campfires! Two weekend sessions are scheduled for your scheduling convenience. This is a great opportunity for one-on-one parent & son bonding, so plan to attend Weekend Resident Camp with your Scout! Weekend Resident Camp is open to Cubs of all ages.
Cost: Scout- $175 if paid in full by May 6 ($200 after May 6) Adult- $105
WEEK-Long Full Resident Camp (Session#1 July 9th – 14th) or (Session#2 July 16th - 21st)
Week-Long Resident Camp is a six day/five night adventure for those Cubs and Dens ready for a longer camping experience! Two sessions will be offered, each running from Saturday through Thursday. Week-Long Resident Camp is especially appropriate for Webelos Scouts so they can get a full week summer camp experience under their belt before becoming Boy Scouts. During Weeklong Resident Camp, Scouts get to work on age-appropriate activities planned specifically for each age group plus do all their camp favorites! Special programs will also be provided just for Webelos such as our ever popular Webelos Outpost and Bashore Scout Reservation Field Trip.
Cost: Full Week: Scout- $275 if paid in full by May 6 ($300 after May 6) Adult- $135
WEEK-Long "Mini"Resident Camp (Session#1 July 9th - 12th) or (Session#2 July 16th - 19th)
Week-Long "Mini" Resident Camp is for younger Scouts or those not ready to
camp for a full week, again in 2016 we will offer a Mini-Week half week
option (Saturday through Tuesday morning) adventure for those Cubs and Dens. Two sessions will be offered, each running from Saturday through Tuesday. During Weeklong "Mini" Resident Camp, Scouts get to work on age-appropriate activities planned specifically for each age group plus do all their camp favorites! Special programs will also be provided just for Webelos such as our ever popular Webelos Outpost and Bashore Scout Reservation Field Trip.
Cost: Mini Week: Scout- $175 if paid in full by May 6 ($200 after May 6) Adult-$105
S.T.E.M. Camp (July 23rd - 25th)
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Camp is a totally new Mack camping experience with Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) as the focus. Programs focus on meeting requirements for the Cub Scout Nova Awards and STEM related Cub Scout Adventures!
Cost: Scout- $175 if paid in full by May 6 ($200 after May 6) Adult- $105
